So what does a routine health check mean for you and your pet?
Check to spot issues early so we can all do something about it
Symptoms of serious diseases can be subtle and you may not be able to catch them in time. Health checks give your pet a better chance for early detection especially since our pets age way faster than us humans.
We really rather see you for routine health checks and treat the condition while we still can, than have to break the bad news to you that your pet’s condition is dire or worse, that he is dying. Regular health checks are especially crucial for senior pets.
Check to save yourself the heartache & shock
Half the problems we see in pets can be prevented if pet owners stuck to routine health checks. So rather than wish you can turn back time, make a bit of time every year or every 6 months for a pet health check. It’s better to stick to a regular routine than have to deal with a rude awakening (and a potentially hefty bill).
Check to save your furkid from pain & stress
Maybe your pet gets really stressed out every time she leaves the house so you’d rather not make that trip to the vet if everything looks okay. But can you imagine the toll it will take on her to be sick AND stressed when she really needs medical attention?
It's wise to get your pet used to being handled and checked when she is not trying to fight off an infection, battle a condition or already in immense pain.
Check to give yourself a chance to level up on pet care
Use the health check sessions to ask your vet all those burning questions you have on basic pet behaviour, suitable diets, useful tips on cleaning out those ears, dental care etc. Or debunk the stuff you read on the internet by asking a professional.
